A precise turned metal gun barrel from the Polish maker RB model that replaces the plastic barrel of the German 75 mm PaK 42 anti-tank gun in the L/48 form. This shorter variant is intended for the E-10 tank destroyer (a paper project of the end of the war). It is not a model but a detailed replacement part. The barrel is turned from metal, perfectly straight and true, with an accurate muzzle and a clean bore.
It does away with the mold seam left by gluing two halves together and with a rounded plastic muzzle. A metal gun barrel is exactly true, looks realistic and stands up better to bending. Fine detail on the barrel raises the impression of the finished vehicle.
Cut off the plastic barrel, drill a hole in the remaining part as needed and glue the metal gun barrel in with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Even a moderately advanced modeler can manage the job.
This is an accessory detail part, not a complete kit. The basic model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
