About product

Turned metal gun barrel 8.8 cm PaK 43 in 1:35 scale - RB model

A precise turned metal gun barrel from the Polish maker RB model that replaces the plastic barrel of the famous German 88 mm anti-tank gun, the 8.8 cm PaK 43 (L/71), in 1:35 scale. It is not a model but a detailed replacement part. The long L/71 barrel is prone in plastic to bending and to a visible seam - the metal version is perfectly straight and true, with an accurate muzzle and a clean bore.

What the replacement improves

It does away with the mold seam left by gluing two halves together and with a rounded plastic muzzle. The barrel stays perfectly straight despite its length, stands up better to damage, and the fine detail raises the impression of the finished weapon.

Fitting

Cut off the plastic barrel, drill a hole in the remaining part and glue the metal gun barrel in with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). With a long barrel take care to line the axis up precisely.

Who the barrel is for

  • Modelers building vehicles with the 8.8 cm PaK 43 in 1:35 scale
  • Those interested in German Second World War anti-tank artillery
  • Builders who want a perfectly straight metal gun barrel
  • Collectors of armored and artillery vehicles

This is an accessory detail part, not a complete kit. The basic model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
