This injection-molded plastic kit captures the Chinese conventional attack submarine of the Type 33 in 1:144 scale. The model offers a full-hull version with engraved detail, the conning tower and the control surfaces, a stand and decals. The paints and the glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
Type 33 is a Chinese medium torpedo attack submarine with conventional propulsion, that is, with a combination of diesel and electric drive. The design derives from a Soviet submarine of the Cold War era and formed the backbone of the submarine fleet of its period. The streamlined hull measured roughly 76 meters and was arranged for torpedo armament.
Line up the halves of the submarine hull carefully and fill the seams so that a smooth surface results. Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic. For a faithful appearance we recommend a two-tone naval scheme with a dark upper surface and a lighter side; pick out the edges with a dry brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
