Responsibility details are not available.
The LVTP-7A1 is an amphibious tracked vehicle of the United States Marine Corps. It serves to carry a landing squad from ship to shore: in the water it moves under its own power, on land it runs on tracks like an armored personnel carrier. The A1 version is the modernized form of the original LVTP-7 and was later redesignated AAVP-7A1. The US Marine Corps had vehicles of this type in service at the time of the fighting in the Persian Gulf in 1991, to which the name of the item refers.
The 1:144 scale is one of the small ones: a vehicle around eight meters long comes out at roughly five and a half centimeters. The model therefore fits even where there is no room for larger scales, and it suits groups of vehicles in the same scale, where the relative sizes of the individual machines come out.
Stand the model on a level surface out of direct sunlight, which does the colors no good over time. Dust comes off the small shapes such as grab handles, aerials and equipment with a soft brush; wiping with a cloth is risky at this size, as something is easily broken off. Pick the model up by the lower part of the vehicle, not by the superstructure or the tracks.
A display case, a base and other accessories are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
