Responsibility details are not available.
Injection-molded plastic kit of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 fighter in its late production form, in 1:32 scale from Trumpeter. This large, detailed model of the most widely built Gustav offers a richly equipped cockpit, a detailed engine bay and the glazing of the G series. The large scale brings out the wealth of detail, and the set usually contains photo-etched parts too.
The Bf 109G-6 was the most mass-produced version of the whole Bf 109 family. It was marked by the prominent bulges on the cowling above the breeches of the synchronized 13 mm MG 131 machine guns, which earned the nickname Beule. Late aircraft from 1943 and 1944 received a series of production changes, among them a taller fin and a newer canopy with a better view. The G-6 served on every front and became the backbone of the German fighter defense.
Finish the cockpit and the engine bay first, and close the fuselage up only afterwards. Protect the glazing with masks. Spray a primer as the base and then the RLM scheme; bring out the panels and the characteristic bulges with a wash, and suggest wear on the edges with a dry brush and chipped paint. Add the insignia and the tactical numbers from the decal sheet.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
