This injection-molded plastic kit captures the Chinese light cross-country vehicle BJ2022JC nicknamed Yong Shi, meaning Brave Warrior. The model is intended to be glued and painted. The package offers a separate axle and drive train, a well-worked interior, opening doors and hood, a choice of two front bumpers, a roll cage, an optional hard top, rubber tires, photo-etched parts and decals; the exact contents may differ between releases.
The BJ2022JC is a Chinese light 4x4 utility vehicle developed in Beijing and used by the Chinese army. It serves to carry people and freight and as a support vehicle. It is based on a modern cross-country chassis with independent suspension and a turbocharged diesel engine, thanks to which it copes with demanding terrain.
It pays to paint the open interior and the engine bay before closing the body up. Use a thin modeling cement on the plastic, and glue the rubber tires with cyanoacrylate. Spray over a base coat (primer), and apply dust pigments to the chassis and the fenders for a realistic patina.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
