The CV3/35 Italian tankette is a plastic kit of an Italian tankette in 1:35 scale.

An injection-molded plastic kit of the Italian CV3/35 tankette, later designated L3/35, in 1:35 scale from Bronco. It is a very small two-man tracked vehicle with no revolving turret and machine gun armament in the front of the hull.
The tankette was the interwar idea of an inexpensive armored vehicle for the infantry: a small tracked vehicle for two men, lightly armored, with a machine gun in the hull and no turret. Italy backed it in a big way and built thousands of them, so in 1940 tankettes made up the core of its armored strength. In combat it became clear at once that the vehicle was defenseless against any anti-tank weapon and that without a turret it had no way of firing to the sides. The vehicles served in North Africa, in the Balkans and in Spain, and some of them were given heavier armament in the field.
The vehicle is very small, so every blemish on it counts twice: fill the seams carefully with putty and sand them back. Finish and paint the hull and the running gear before you close the hull up. Cut the small parts off with a sharp blade and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. Italian sand or gray-green paint comes alive with a dark wash in the panel lines; on a vehicle this small a lighter hand with dust effects is enough, otherwise they swallow the model completely.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
