A plastic kit of the German Fieseler Fi 156 Storch light utility aircraft in the D-1 version, in 1:35 scale from Hobby Boss. This large-scale kit offers a richly broken-up surface and clearly laid out parts; the assembled model has a span of around 40 cm.
The Fieseler Fi 156 Storch, meaning stork, was a renowned German aircraft with exceptional short take-off and landing qualities. During the Second World War it served as a liaison and observation machine, an air ambulance and a personal aircraft for senior officers. It could take off and land on a very short strip, which made it a legend.
Finish and mask the glazed cabin with its excellent view carefully, because it is the dominant feature of the model. Glue the struts and the landing gear precisely, so that the model stands well. Lay the paints on with an airbrush and bring out the panel lines gently.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
