G7117 US Military Truck 1:35 is a plastic kit of an American military cargo truck of the Second World War from the manufacturer ICM.
Responsibility details are not available.
This plastic kit in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer ICM depicts the American G7117 military cargo truck built by the General Motors group. The kit offers a detailed body, cab, chassis and drivetrain. Decals for period markings are included. It is a faithful model of a classic Allied cargo truck of the Second World War.
The G7117 belonged to the extensive family of G7100 series cargo trucks with all-wheel drive and a payload of about 1.5 tons. The vehicles were built from the early 1940s and went to the Allies in large numbers under wartime aid; they also served directly with the US Army. They proved to be a reliable means of transport on the most varied battlefields.
It is worth assembling and painting the chassis and drivetrain before the body is set in place. Use liquid cement for plastic and clean up the joints carefully. For a faithful appearance, a base color, detail work brought out with a wash and fine pigments for deposits of dust and mud on the wheels and chassis all work well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
