1:35 German hooks set for tanks and half-tracks is a detail set from Elefant with small accessories for models of military vehicles. It is not a kit but an accessory for a build.
Responsibility details are not available.
This item is not a vehicle model but a set of small accessories from Elefant. It contains the hooks used on German tanks and half-tracks to secure equipment, to hang tools and spare parts or to fasten tow cables. In plastic kits these small things tend to be either heavily simplified or missing altogether, because they cannot be molded in the corresponding thickness. Separately made parts are thinner and cleaner in shape. The set is universal, that is, usable across several types of vehicle, which also makes it a useful stock of small parts in the drawer.
German tracked and half-tracked vehicles of the Second World War carried a great deal of small hardware on the hull: hooks, eyes, clips and brackets for tools, spare road wheels, jerrycans or camouflage material. It is exactly these details that decide whether a model reads as a vehicle in service or as a bare shell. The arrangement of the hardware differed from type to type and from one production batch to another, so it pays to compare the positions with the documentation for the particular vehicle.
Separate the parts with a sharp scalpel or a fine-toothed saw, never snap them. Because of their size, get tweezers ready and work over a mat with a raised edge so that small parts do not end up on the floor. They are bonded with cyanoacrylate glue, ideally applied with a pinhead in a minimum quantity. Mark the positions dry with a pencil first. Lay down a primer before painting. Small hardware stands out well with a darker wash and light drybrushing of the edges, and with fine traces of corrosion in pigment if you wish.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
