An injection-molded plastic kit of the Israeli Army's heavy combat engineering vehicle in 1:35 scale from Hobby Boss. The Puma (Combat Engineering Vehicle) is a heavily armored engineering vehicle of the Israel Defense Forces' Combat Engineering Corps, based on the Centurion tank chassis. It carries engineers and carries out combat engineering tasks in exposed areas, such as mine clearance and breaching a line of fire. Thanks to its heavy armor, it is among the best-protected vehicles of its kind; some examples carried a rocket system for launching mine-clearing charges.
For armored vehicles, assemble and paint the running gear before closing up the hull. Use thin liquid modeling cement on the plastic, sand the joints smooth, and treat the surface with a primer. Apply the camouflage shades with an airbrush; finish with weathering using washes and pigments for dust and mud effects typical of desert and field deployment.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
