An injection-molded plastic kit of the Israeli main battle tank Tiran-6 in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter. The set contains individual track links and photo-etched parts and captures the Israeli modifications that set the Tiran apart from the original vehicle.
The Tiran-6 came about through the Israeli modernization of captured Soviet T-62 tanks. Israel added its own equipment to the vehicle, including modified fire control and communications. Characteristic features are the flat basket at the rear of the turret, additional stowage boxes and machine gun mounts on the turret roof.
It is best to assemble the individual track links patiently and to fine-tune the Israeli additions on the turret. Use a thin cement on the plastic, treat the surface with a primer and apply the paints with an airbrush. The Israeli desert shade comes into its own with a dust patina and with the edges picked out.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
