Injection-molded plastic kit of the Polish improvised armored vehicle Kubus in 1:35 scale from Mirage Hobby. The model captures one of the best-known symbols of the Warsaw Uprising and suits a display case as well as a diorama on an uprising theme.
Kubus was an improvised armored car built by soldiers of the Polish Home Army (Armia Krajowa) during the Warsaw Uprising in August 1944. It was created in the workshops of the Warsaw power station on the chassis of a three-ton Chevrolet truck, and its body was welded from steel plates. It served for attack and for carrying fighters and became a legend of the uprising's struggle.
Glue the parts with a thin cement for plastic. Before painting, spray the model with primer, which evens the surface out. Rough improvised armor plate positively calls for strong weathering, washes into the welds and dust pigments on the chassis and the wheels. Fit the rubber tires at the very end, so that they are not damaged while handling.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
