An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet BM-13 rocket launcher, nicknamed the Katyusha, in 1:35 scale from Hobby Boss. The model captures the launcher superstructure with its rails mounted on a truck chassis and is complemented by photo-etched parts, clear parts, decals and rubber tires.
The BM-13 Katyusha was a Soviet self-propelled rocket launcher of the Second World War. Salvo fire of unguided rockets from a mobile superstructure on a truck had a devastating area effect and a strong psychological impact. The system became one of the symbols of the Red Army.
It is best to assemble the chassis and the launcher superstructure with its rails carefully. Use a thin cement on the plastic, treat the surface with a primer and apply the shades with an airbrush. The Soviet green is brought to life by picking out the edges and by dust and mud weathering with pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
