Injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet experimental KV-7 self-propelled gun in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter. The model has a well-detailed surface, a hull broken down into parts with a fixed superstructure, a detailed running gear and individual track links. Small fittings such as grab handles, fuel tanks, stowage boxes and tow cables are there too.
The KV-7 (Object 227) was an experimental Soviet self-propelled gun from the end of 1941, built on the chassis of the KV-1 heavy tank. In the Object 227 variant it carried a combination of two 45 mm guns and one 76 mm gun in a shared fixed superstructure. The vehicle remained a prototype and never reached series production.
Finish the running gear and the lower hull first, then close the superstructure up. Glue the plastic with thin modeling cement and sort the individual track links out in order beforehand. We recommend a primer and an airbrush; build the weathering with washes and pigments in the recesses and on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
