Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet KV-8 heavy tank in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter. The package contains hull and turret parts, optional rubber or plastic tracks and photo-etched sheet; for the exact number of parts, follow the instructions.
The KV-8 is the flamethrower version of the Soviet KV-1 heavy tank, in which an ATO-41 flamethrower was built into the turret alongside the machine gun. It kept the heavy armor and the rugged chassis of the base KV-1 and was intended to destroy fortifications and infantry in defense. It is among the less usual, specialized variants of early Soviet heavy tanks.
Assemble and finish the running gear before closing the hull up; with the tracks, consider the choice between the rubber and the plastic parts according to your own habits. Use liquid modeling cement on the plastic, even the base out with a primer and lay the paint on with an airbrush. Bring the broad surfaces to life with washes into the recesses and dust pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
