Castings of equipment for the light reconnaissance armored car Sd.Kfz. 222 in 1:35 contain boxes, tarpaulins and small items of equipment that the car carried on the outside.
Responsibility details are not available.
The small four-wheeled scout had no room to spare inside, so almost everything was carried on the fenders and at the rear. This resin set depicts exactly that: boxes, rolled tarpaulins, containers and other objects lashed on the outside.
The leichter Panzerspähwagen Sd.Kfz. 222 arose on the chassis of a heavy cross-country passenger car and from the end of the 1930s served as a fast means of reconnaissance. In its open turret it carried a 2 cm automatic cannon and a coaxial machine gun, and a folding wire mesh covered it from above against hand grenades. The armor withstood only shots from small arms, so the vehicle relied on speed on the road and on avoiding a direct clash. It was used in Poland, in France, in North Africa and in the east, where the chassis built for hard-surfaced roads began to let it down.
Separate the small castings from the block under a magnifier and put them straight into a dish, so that they do not get lost. After washing and drying, lay them out dry and only then glue. Canvas looks better if you go over it with a dark wash after painting and accentuate the edges with a dry brush.
The armored car, paints and glue are not in the package.
