This injection-molded plastic kit represents the late production version of the Soviet heavy tank T-35, the only five-turret tank in the world ever built in series. The model in 1:35 scale offers a finely rendered hull, all the turrets and the running gear, and is complemented by a photo-etched fret and decals. It is a large and striking piece for a collection of interwar equipment.
The T-35 was a Soviet multi-turret heavy tank of the interwar period and the beginning of the Second World War. With its five turrets it embodied the idea of a land cruiser, but it was slow and mechanically unreliable. The late production version differed from the earlier ones in, among other things, the shape of the turrets and in detail changes to the hull. The vehicle was built only in small numbers.
On such a busy vehicle, finish the running gear and the lower hull first. It is a good idea to paint the turrets separately. The large flat armor surfaces come to life with shading and a soft transition of tones. For the patina use washes in the recesses and pigments for dust and mud. The number of running gear parts calls for patience.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
