Tires for a model of the Krupp Protze car in 1:35 scale, cast in resin for the six-wheeled chassis.
Responsibility details are not available.
Cast wheels for a model of the six-wheeled German tractor and truck Krupp Protze. Resin holds a sharp tread pattern and a broken-up rim, which on a vehicle with so many visible wheels plays a noticeably greater part than on a tracked vehicle.
The Krupp Protze was built from the middle of the 1930s as a light tractor for anti-tank guns and a carrier for men in the Kfz. 69 and Kfz. 70 forms. An air-cooled four-cylinder flat engine from Krupp powered it and its sloped pointed hood earned it the nickname Schnauzer among the soldiers. The six-by-four layout with a doubled rear axle gave the car decent cross-country performance, so it appeared in Poland, in France and in North Africa before standardized truck types pushed it out.
Wash them in warm water, so that the mold release agent disappears, and only then cut. The sprue gates tend to be on the inner side of the disc, so they can be removed without a trace. Fit the doubled rear wheels so that a visible gap stays between them; it is precisely that which gives the vehicle away in period photographs. Start the painting with a dark base, add the transition to dust with dry pigments and keep the traces of mud only in the lower third of the tire.
The package consists of resin wheels only; the car itself is not in it.
