Double-sided painting mask for the Fairey Delta 2 in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer Clear Prop Models. Precisely cut kabuki masks for the framing and glazing of the cockpit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely cut self-adhesive masks on thin kabuki tape, intended for masking the glazing and the other clear parts of a model of the British Fairey Delta 2 aircraft. The designation double-sided means that the set holds masks for the outer and the inner side of the glazing, so the framing of the cockpit gets clean sharp edges from both viewpoints. This is not a kit but an accessory for models of this type.
The Fairey Delta 2 was a British experimental delta-wing aircraft which in 1956 became the first machine to exceed a speed of 1000 miles per hour. It served for research into flight at high speeds, and its drooping nose became the model for later supersonic designs.
Carefully lift the masks off the sheet, lay them on the glazing along the frames and press them down. Then spray the color of the frames, let it dry and take the masks off. They follow the shape of the frames, so laborious cutting from masking tape is done away with.
The paints, glue and model are not included in the package.
