This upgrade set contains color-printed photo-etched parts in 1:48 scale for refining a model of the Alenia Aermacchi M-346 Master trainer. It is not an aircraft kit but an aftermarket accessory that completes and replaces selected details of the base kit, above all in the cockpit.
The Alenia Aermacchi M-346 Master is a modern two-seat jet trainer and light combat aircraft used for the advanced training of fighter pilots. Backlit instrument panels and cockpit detail are among the elements where a photo-etched set makes the most difference.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife on a mat, bend them over a straight edge, for which a photo-etch bender works well, and glue them spot by spot with cyanoacrylate. Do not treat the color-printed areas, such as panels and straps, with aggressive thinners, so that the printing is not damaged.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue, paints and other parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
