Factory-finished collector's model of the American Curtiss P-40M Warhawk fighter in the colors of the Soviet Air Force in the larger 1:48 scale from Easy Model. The model is already assembled and painted, with the Soviet markings printed on and a display stand included. It is not a kit – the piece is ready to be displayed straight away. The larger 1:48 scale brings more detail than the more common 1:72.
The P-40 Warhawk was an American single-engine fighter of the Second World War with a characteristic slim nose and the radiator intake under the engine. The P-40M version was one of the later variants with a V engine. The United States delivered large numbers of P-40s as aid to the Soviet Union, where they served with front-line fighter regiments. The Soviets also called the P-40 series Kittyhawk, following British usage.
Stand the model on the display stand supplied and keep it out of direct sunlight. Wipe the dust off with a soft dry brush or a cloth, without solvents or aggressive cleaners. The printed markings do not crack or peel.
The model is supplied as a finished, factory-assembled and painted piece meant for display; it is not a kit, and nothing has to be glued or painted.
