Omask 1:48 Spitfire Mk.I - camouflage fields (camo A)

A set of self-adhesive painting masks from the Czech maker Omask which, on a model of the Spitfire Mk.I in 1:48 scale, covers the individual camouflage fields and makes it possible to spray a two-color upper surface camouflage with hard (sharp) edges exactly to pattern A. The masks are cut to measure for a particular kit, so they fit the given shapes of the wings and the fuselage. It is not a paint and not a model. The set is designed for the Eduard 11143 kit.

Use

• Stick the masks onto the base color already sprayed on and cover the fields of the first camouflage color.
• Spray over with the second camouflage color; take the masks off once dry.
• You will gain the sharp dividing edges typical of the early British fighter scheme.
• Pattern A is one of the variants of the layout of the fields - choose according to the machine you are building.

For modelers who want a precise upper surface camouflage of the Spitfire Mk.I without lengthy tracing and without soft transitions. Early British day fighters carried a two-color camouflage of earthy shades - the masks reproduce the layout of the fields of variant A. Suitable for intermediate and advanced builders.
