Figure Set Car Meet 5 is a set of finished painted metal figures in 1:64 scale, which adds the visitors of a car meet to a display cabinet of collector cars.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of figures on the theme of a car meet. The figures are conceived as ordinary participants of a gathering of car enthusiasts, that is people who stand around the cars, look them over and talk together. The figures are cast in metal, finished and painted by hand, so nothing has to be assembled or painted.
The Car Meet range is built exactly for the scene that most collectors in 1:64 scale build most often: a parking lot or a garage with several cars on show. Without people a display cabinet like that looks empty, and with figures it gains a sense of scale and a story at once. The figures are designed in ordinary civilian clothing, so they suit modern and classic cars alike and do not tie the scene to one particular period.
An adult figure comes out at roughly twenty to thirty millimeters in 1:64 scale. The best impression arises when the figures really touch the scene, for example when one leans a hand on the side of a car, another bends down to a wheel and a third stands a little way off with a phone. The set can be combined with other figure sets and with diorama accessories of the same scale.
The figures are finished and painted. The cars shown in the promotional photographs are not part of the package. Because of the small parts the set is not intended for small children.
