Trumpeter 1:700 AV-8B Harrier is a set of twelve miniature vertical take-off aircraft intended to complete models of aircraft carriers and helicopter ships in waterline 1:700 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The injection-molded plastic set contains twelve miniature models of the AV-8B Harrier II aircraft in 1:700 scale from the manufacturer Trumpeter. It is not one large model of an airplane but carrier aircraft intended to fill the deck and hangars of models of amphibious ships and aircraft carriers. The package is conceived so that a single purchase equips a whole deck.
The AV-8B Harrier II is a single-seat attack aircraft with vertical or short take-off and landing (V/STOL), operated above all by the US Marine Corps from the decks of small carriers and helicopter assault ships. Thanks to its ability to operate without a long runway it became the typical carrier armament of amphibious formations.
Cut the tiny parts off carefully with a sharp knife and clean them up with a fine file. Given the size, painting with an airbrush and picking the panels out with a thin wash prove their worth. The aircraft can be shown with the wings folded or spread and arranged in formations on the deck or in the hangar.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
