The painting mask for the La-5 (early version) 1:72 from Clear Prop Models. Yellow kabuki paper for clean spraying of the cockpit glazing and the wheels of the Soviet fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely cut masking templates from yellow kabuki paper (washi) for a model of the Lavochkin La-5 in the early version, 1:72 scale. These are not parts of a model but an aid for spraying: the templates follow the shape of the canopy frames and the outlines of the wheels exactly, so lengthy cutting of tape falls away and masking is clean and quick.
The Lavochkin La-5 was a Soviet single-seat fighter of 1942 with a radial engine and a largely wooden structure. The early version had a higher fuselage spine behind the pilot, which later gave way to a cut-down spine with a better view. The La-5 played a prominent part on the Eastern Front.
The mask is an aid for spraying. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
