Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail accessory in 1:72 scale by Clear Prop. The set reproduces the powerplant, an inline engine, of the de Havilland DH.88 Comet racing aircraft and matches the shape of a model of that machine exactly. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory for raising the detail of the engine section.
The de Havilland DH.88 Comet was a British twin-engine racing aircraft of the 1930s, famous for its victory in the long-distance race to Australia. It was powered by a pair of de Havilland Gipsy Six inverted inline engines. A faithful reproduction of the engine makes it possible to display the powerplant open on a model.
Wash the residue off the parts, cut the casting blocks off and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The fine detail comes into its own once a primer and shading have been applied.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package. Sand resin with respiratory protection.
