A finished collector's model of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109G-10 fighter in 1:72 scale, in Croatian markings of 1945.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109G-10 is among the last production versions of the most widespread German fighter of the Second World War. It was powered by an inverted V12 DB 605 and differed from the older machines of the G series in the modified fairings on the upper part of the nose and in a generally cleaned-up nose. Machines of this version reached units outside the Luftwaffe at the end of the war as well, and the model is done in Croatian markings of 1945.
This is a finished collector's model in 1:72 scale, that is a piece that does not have to be built or painted. It arrives assembled and in a color finish corresponding to the real aircraft, including the markings. Collector's models of this kind are bought as an addition to a collection or as a gift for someone who is interested in aviation but does not build.
The model shows to advantage in a display case or on a shelf where it is not exposed to direct sunlight; harsh light changes the color tones over time and it shows most on the light surfaces of the underside of the aircraft. Remove dust from the surface with a soft brush rather than a cloth, so as not to damage the small protruding parts such as the aerial masts, the tubes and the propeller blades. When carrying the model, take it by the fuselage, not by the wing or the tail surfaces.
A display case, a display base and other accessories are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
