An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Land-Wasser-Schlepper (LWS) amphibious tractor in 1:72 scale from Hobby Boss. The model is supplied as a set of parts to be assembled and painted and, thanks to the smaller number of parts, it makes for a brisker build suitable for collectors in the small scale too.
The Land-Wasser-Schlepper was a German amphibious tractor developed for the needs of engineer units. It served to tow vehicles and loads on land as well as in the water and moved as a tracked craft. The vehicle was built in small numbers and counts among the interesting special vehicles of the Second World War.
Assemble the tracks and the running gear before finishing the hull. Use liquid cement on the plastic and separate the small parts carefully. Spray the surface with a base, lay the camouflage on with an airbrush and create the weathering with washes and pigments to emphasize wear in service.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
