A finished, assembled and painted model of the French Morane-Saulnier M.S.406 fighter in 1:72 scale from Easy Model. The model is supplied complete, with the markings applied, so there is nothing to glue, fill or paint. All it takes is to unpack it and set it in a display case or on a desk. The finish corresponds to an aircraft in service with the air units of Vichy France.
The M.S.406 was a French single-seat fighter of mixed construction with a Hispano-Suiza V12. In 1940 it was the most numerous fighter type of the French Air Force, although even then it lagged behind its contemporary opponents in speed and rate of climb. After 1940 some of the aircraft stayed in service with units in the territory controlled by the Vichy administration and in the colonies, while other machines entered the service of further states, where they served until later in the war.
The model is intended for collecting and display, not for building. Hold it by the fuselage, not by the propeller, the landing gear or the elevators, which are among the most delicate parts. Wipe dust off with a soft brush rather than a cloth, which catches on the aerials and the fine parts. Do not display the model in direct sunlight, as the printing and the paint would fade over time. If you want to place it in a display case with other models, the same 1:72 scale range suits it.
This is a finished painted model, not a kit. The package contains neither glue nor paints, and none of that is needed.
