A set of water-thinnable acrylic paints from the Ukrainian manufacturer ICM, put together for the American Chevrolet G7107 truck and other American vehicles of the Second World War. The box holds six bottles with a volume of 12 ml, of which five are color shades and one is a varnish. It is not a kit but the paints for one.
The G7107 was an American all-wheel-drive cross-country truck with a payload of one and a half tons. It was built in large numbers and a considerable part of production went to the Soviet Union under the Lend-Lease program, where the vehicles served as tractors and as transport for the infantry. The palette of the set therefore covers both the truck itself and the metal and worn parts of vehicles of the same era. The full list of shades is not stated here. The paints dry matte, so a gloss or satin surface has to be added with a varnish. Once dry they are resistant to water and take oil paints, enamels, washes and thinners, so they hold up under weathering techniques.
It suits a modeler who is building American or Lend-Lease vehicles of the Second World War and does not want to put the shades together one bottle at a time. The base kit, glue and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
Work in a well-ventilated area and protect your airways when spraying with an airbrush. Keep the paints out of the reach of children.
