A sheet of rigid ABS with the relief of brick bonding. One rectangle measures six by two millimeters and the sheet is 0.75 mm thick.
Responsibility details are not available.
A molded sheet takes the place of work a modeler would otherwise do by engraving: every rectangle is pressed into the material including the joint, so the sheet only has to be trimmed to measure and glued onto a wall. A single brick measures six by two millimeters, which is the middle of the sizes offered, and the bonding is offset row by row as it is in real masonry.
The base is rigid ABS seventy-five hundredths of a millimeter thick. It is thin enough to be bent around a column or a cylindrical tank, and at the same time firm enough for the edge not to crumble. The best route to a result leads through a dark base in the joints and a lighter coat from above, because the relief itself creates the shadows and the color transition then only finishes off the impression of depth. The white matte surface at the same time makes it possible to judge the covering power of a finish.
The six-millimeter length corresponds to an ordinary brick roughly in the scale for figures thirty-five millimeters tall and smaller, while in larger scales it serves well as a cladding tile or a concrete panel. That is precisely why the sheet is used for sidewalks, platforms and retaining walls too, not only for the facades of houses.
It is cut with a sharp knife or with plastic shears, sanded with ordinary paper and glued with cement for plastic as well as with super glue. It pays off to keep the remains, because small fragments make faithful pieces of broken masonry. If a wall is to come across as older, it helps to scrape a few bricks out irregularly and to replace them with ones shaded differently.
