It is neither a kit nor an accessory for a model - it is a work luminaire for a modeling bench. A dimmable LED lamp with a clamp to screw onto the top of a bench, with a luminous flux of 1400 lm, an adjustable color temperature of 3000-6500 K and a color rendering index of Ra over 92. Compared with the basic version of the same type it has a markedly greater reach of the arm - up to 83 cm sideways.
A modeler works with parts the size of millimeters. With a ceiling light behind your back you cast a shadow with your own hand exactly where you are looking - onto the part being glued, onto the tip of the brush, onto an engraved line. A lamp with a clamp brings the light above the work and moves the shadow out of the way. A long reach of the arm then means that you do not have to move the lamp every time you shift to another part of a model.
This is the main reason for getting a proper lamp rather than just any lamp. Warm light (3000 K) is yellowish and distorts colors. Cool, daylight light (5500-6500 K) matches daylight - and only under it do you see colors as they really are. When mixing shades and painting figures that is essential: a shade you hit exactly under a yellowish bulb looks completely different in daylight. Plenty of hours of work have been spoiled that way for nothing. A high Ra over 92 says on top of that that the lamp renders colors faithfully and does not shift them. The adjustability then lets you switch to daylight for painting and to a warmer setting for a long build, which tires the eyes less.
For modelers who mix paints, paint figures or work with small parts and want to light anywhere on the bench without moving the lamp. It is a work luminaire, not a magnifier lamp - the manufacturer states no magnifier for it.
An electrical appliance: use it only with the supplied adapter, do not cover it and do not expose it to damp. Tighten the clamp onto a firm top, so that the lamp does not fall onto a model under construction.
