Matched Play Pre-painted Low Walls (Pack x8)

Matched Play Pre-painted Low Walls (Pack x8) — eight painted MDF walls

A terrain accessory from the Spanish brand Green Stuff World. These are not models and not figures, but low walls that give cover on the playing surface. The manufacturer gives eight pieces in the package, MDF as the material and a pre-painted surface in a sci-fi style. Each wall folds into an L shape by slotting the parts together, so no glue at all is needed for play, and after a game the walls come apart again and travel flat.

What the walls do on the table

• they give cover and still leave firing lines and a route to the objectives open
• eight pieces is, according to the manufacturer, the usual number used on tournament surfaces
• optional break-out wall sections add battle damage if you open them
• they suit games with figures 28 to 32 mm in size

Building tips

If you want to join the walls permanently, the manufacturer recommends white PVA glue, which holds on MDF and gives a firm joint. It does not recommend cyanoacrylate glue, because that can damage the painted surface. Consider whether to glue them at all: walls that come apart fit into a thin box and nothing breaks off them in transit. Open the break-out sections before you fold a wall for the first time, so that you do not press on it needlessly.

Who they are for

For players, clubs and tournament organizers who need to add cover to a surface quickly and do not want to paint or glue terrain. Eight pieces in one package cover the usual need for low cover across a whole playing surface.
