Miniature Bricks - Red x1000 1:48 — ceramic bricks for dioramas

An accessory for dioramas from the Spanish brand Green Stuff World. It is not a kit and not a finished building, but loose ceramic bricks from which you build the masonry yourself. The manufacturer gives 1000 pieces in the package, a scale of 1:48, red coloring through the body and a size of 5.3 x 2.6 x 1.3 mm for a single brick.

Use

• according to the manufacturer they can be cut, filed, drilled and sanded, so you make half bricks and broken ends yourself

Building and painting tips

Ceramic is absorbent, so it holds white glue as well as acrylic paint without a primer. Glue the masonry onto the backing row by row and fill the joints with thin grout or a paste made from filler; once dry, wipe the excess off with a damp sponge so that it stays in the grooves. Do not paint all the bricks the same — break them up with two or three shades and tie them together with a dark wash, otherwise the area looks unnaturally regular. Dust pigments at the end add the dirt near the ground.
