A quick disconnect always consists of two parts. One, fitted with a female thread, is screwed onto the end of the hose or onto the outlet of the compressor. The other, with a male thread, stays on the gun. Only by joining the two does a connection arise that comes apart in one movement and yet does not let air through. This part is precisely the one with the female thread. It is worth getting even when you already have one quick disconnect, because with a second set you can have another gun or a second hose fitted out and swap them over without screwing.
It suits anyone who works with several guns or who is building an air distribution system from one compressor to several places. It is an accessory part, not an aid usable on its own, so get it with regard to what you already have in your setup.
Work with a reasonable pressure and check the joint before spraying. Keep out of the reach of children. The airbrush and the hose are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
