This collectible plastic figure of Optimus Prime from Trumpeter's Smart Kit range is based on the appearance of the character in the movie Transformers: Bumblebee. It is a snap-fit model in ABS plastic — the parts are pre-colored and joined by clicking together, so neither glue nor paints are needed for the build. The assembled figure stands about 11 cm tall and offers a number of movable joints.
Optimus Prime is the leader of the Autobots and one of the best-known characters of the Transformers brand. The movie version from Bumblebee is based on the classic look with its striking blue and red combination. This model is a static figure and is not transformable.
Carefully remove the parts from the sprues and level off any flash. The model can be built without glue, but firmer joints can be secured with a drop of cyanoacrylate. The pre-colored parts only need touching up with details or highlighting of the panel lines. A display base and the character's weapon are included.
The model is snap-fit with pre-colored parts; glue and paints are not necessary for the build, unless stated otherwise.
