If you want to lift the model, bring the engraved lines out with a panel line wash or a fine marker and unify the surface with a matte clear coat. If you reach for paint, choose the shades with regard to the fact that the colored plastic shows through beneath them, and apply them thinly.
The model is supplied unassembled. The parts are colored and join by snapping together; glue and paints are not included in the package and are not necessary.
