It can also be used under small models and accessories that do not stand firmly on their own.
Fix the figure to the base before you start finishing the surface, otherwise it is hard to work around the legs. Cyanoacrylate glue holds well on acrylic; cement for polystyrene does not work here, because it has nothing to soften. Before painting, wash and degrease the smooth surface and go over it with a primer first, otherwise the finish rubs off. Loose materials are laid into a layer of glue or thin paste and, once dry, firmed up with thinned glue. The rim of the base is often left clean so that the cut of the material stays visible.
