This is a modeling aid — a pad of disposable palette papers intended for mixing and testing paints. It is not a paint and not a kit. The individual sheets serve as a mixing surface on which you mix the shade you want, thin the paint or test its coverage before applying it to the model. After the work you simply tear the sheet off and throw it away, so the slow business of cleaning a palette falls away.

Use

• Put drops of paint on a sheet and mix the shade you want.
• The absorbent surface helps draw off some of the thinner and adjust the consistency of the paint.
• Particularly suited to water-thinnable acrylic paints.
• When the work is finished, tear off the used sheet and throw it away.

Any modeler who often mixes his own shades or paints with a brush and needs a clean mixing surface without having to wash it will appreciate this aid. It makes the work easier for figure painters as well as for builders of vehicles and aircraft.
