AMMO WARGAMING UNIVERSE Book 10 - Fertile Meadows (English, Castellano, Polski)

AMMO WARGAMING UNIVERSE Book 10 - Fertile Meadows

The tenth volume of the AMMO WARGAMING UNIVERSE guide line by AMMO of Mig Jimenez. It is a publication, not a kit and not a set of materials: the book is sold on its own, and the static grass, foliage and paints go with it separately. The line aims at wargaming, that is, at modelers who, besides figures, also build game terrain and bases.

What the volume deals with

The subject of the tenth volume is fertile, fresh landscape - tall and short grass, meadow flowers, bushes, soft transitions between growth and bare earth. Fresh green is treacherous in that it tempts you into a single rich shade; a real meadow, however, is a mixture of tones from yellow-green to almost brown, and only the layering makes the scene alive. The AMMO WARGAMING UNIVERSE line works through one type of environment after another; the sibling volumes cover deserts, steppes, wetlands or frozen landscape.

How to work with the guide

• Mix several shades of green and brown; a uniform area looks artificial.
• Leave open spots in the growth, trodden paths and exposed earth - contrast is what makes the scale legible.
• The procedures apply on a game table as well as on a diorama with hardware or on a figure base.
• The text is in a foreign language, so look for the main guidance in the picture section.

Who the book is for

For wargamers who want to lift game terrain above the level of a green mat, for builders of dioramas with summer landscape and for figure modelers working out bases. Previous experience is not a condition, but the most will be gained by someone who tries the procedures straight away.

The publication comes out in the languages stated in the name: English, Castellano, Polski. The name does not state a Czech edition.
