Master Tools Basic etching parts - circle 3 is a photo-etched metal sheet with circular parts that serves as a universal stock of detail for building and modifying plastic models.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is neither a kit nor a model. It is a photo-etched metal sheet carrying circular parts, which are cut out of the fret and used wherever injection-molded plastic offers only suggested or over-coarse detail. The accessory is intended for modelers who refine the surface of a model beyond the contents of the box.
Circular photo-etched parts come in handy for imitating rivet heads, washers, flanges, caps, service hatches, small covers and gauges. Because this is a pure geometric shape with no tie to a particular subject, the set is not bound to one model or one scale and will find use on aircraft, ground vehicles and ships as well as in building parts from scratch. The range contains four variants marked circle 1 to circle 4, and this item is variant number 3. The exact diameters of the circles and the number of parts are stated on the box.
Separate the parts with a sharp scalpel on a hard surface, as thin sheet easily ripples with scissors. Sand the remains of the tab down with a fine file. They are glued with superglue applied in the smallest possible quantity, and on larger areas it helps to seat the part precisely first and only then let the glue run to the edge. Before painting, degrease the sheet and apply a primer, otherwise the paint will not hold on smooth metal and will flake off during handling.
This is an add-on photo-etched sheet, not a kit. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
