This item is neither a kit nor a model but a photo-etched metal sheet with circular parts. It serves as a universal stock of small details, to be used on a model wherever injection-molded plastic reaches its limits and the detail is merely suggested, too thick or missing altogether.
Circular photo-etched elements replace rivet heads, washers, flanges, circular caps, closures, small hatches and gauges. The shape is purely geometric, so the set is not meant for one particular kind of subject and you will use it on aircraft and ground vehicles, on ships, on dioramas and when building parts from scratch. The range runs to four variants marked circle 1 to circle 4, and this item is variant number 4. The diameters of the circles and their number are stated on the box.
Cut them out with a sharp scalpel on a hard surface, not with scissors. Level the remains of the tab after separating the part with a fine file or a sanding sponge. For gluing, use superglue in a really small quantity, as any excess would leave a visible rim around the part. The metal surface is smooth and non-absorbent, so before painting, degrease the sheet and prime it, otherwise the paint will flake off during handling.
This is an add-on photo-etched sheet, not a kit. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
