Accessory plastic parts from the range Bandai marks with the abbreviation BPHD and a running number; this item carries the number 12. The name MS Blade 01 says what it is: blades intended for models of the piloted combat machines called mobile suits in the Gundam setting. The numeral at the end of the name tells the individual forms of blade within the range apart.
The parts are used where a machine is to get extra armament or to replace the armament that comes with the kit.
