The snap-fit kit Brady Hound (Brad Exclusive) from the Japanese brand Bandai. The parts are pre-colored right through and snap together, so you build the model without glue and without painting.
Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit from the Japanese brand Bandai that belongs to the world of the mecha series Kyoukai Senki. Bandai builds what are called snap-fit models: the individual parts are already colored in the plastic and join by simply snapping together, so the finished model comes about without glue and without a single drop of paint. The parentheses in the name denote the particular version of the model. The scale is not given in the name; check it on the box.
Kyoukai Senki, also released as Amaim Warrior at the Borderline, is a Japanese mecha series, and the Brady Hound is one of its combat machines. The design of this line is more sober and more technical than that of the classic robot heroes, so models from it take a restrained, less comic-book color treatment well.
Nip the parts off the sprues with nippers for plastic, then level the rest of the gate with a sharp knife and polish it with fine abrasive paper. It is the cleanness of the gates that decides most whether a model looks like a toy or like a model. Anyone who wants to go further can apply panel lines to the pre-colored parts with thinned paint, which runs into the engraving by capillary action, and unify the whole with a matte or satin varnish. Varnishing it all over is purely optional: spray over a primer and finish the moving parts only after a trial build, so that the varnish does not get rubbed off.
Nippers are all you need for the build. Glue and paints are not needed, and anyone who wants to can varnish the model afterward.
