It is not a paint in a bottle and not a kit, but a modeling pencil with a soft watercolor core. You draw with it straight onto a finished model and the mark can then be blended out with a damp brush. The core is water-soluble and non-toxic. The bronze shade is a darker metallic tone that suits everywhere a surface is meant to look like bare or oxidized metal.
It holds best on a matte surface, so take the sheen off the model before weathering. Draw lightly and build the effect up in layers. You strengthen the metallic impression by lightly burnishing the mark once dry with a finger or a cotton swab. It can be blended out with a brush dampened in water; until it is fixed by varnish it can be washed off entirely and started again. Seal the finished result with a matte or satin varnish. The core is soft, so sharpen it carefully.
