MIG Productions Brown Wash 75 ml

A ready-mixed brown wash on an enamel (solvent-based) base, ready for immediate use. The wash runs into recesses, seams, rivets and around details, where it creates fine shadows and visually deepens the relief of the model. The brown shade suits military equipment and earthy and rusted surfaces in particular. It is thinned and cleaned with mineral spirits, so it sits safely over acrylic as well as enamel layers of paint. The bottle volume is 75 ml.

Use

• Apply it with a brush around details and into seams, rivets and scribed lines.
• Let it dry for about 15 minutes and wipe the excess away with a brush dampened in thinner for washes.
• Ideal over a gloss or semi-gloss base, where the wash runs in better and cleans up more easily.
• Layering lets you build up the depth of the shadows and the soiling gradually.
• Shake before use.
