Unlike a round brush it has a flat, wider head that lays the paint down in an even band and is ideal for flat areas and edges. Size No. 8 is a universal width for ordinary painting. The synthetic bristles are springy, easy to clean and take both acrylic and enamel paints.
Suitable for modelers who need to cover flat areas evenly and want a clean surface without pronounced brush marks. For rounded areas and detail a round brush serves better, and for fine lines a script liner. After use, clean the brush with the appropriate thinner and let it dry straightened out.
