A one-millimeter bolt head with flats for a wrench is the most generously filled item in the upper half of the GAS HANS range: it brings 196 pieces. The hole for seating it is 0.6 mm across.

One millimeter is the point where handling printed parts changes fundamentally. You can pick the head up with your fingers, you can see it in the light without a magnifier, and it will not drop unnoticed into the carpet. That is exactly why this size tends to be the first a modeler reaches for who is only just starting to set small accessories. A mistake can also be put right here: a badly seated head is levered out with a point and the hole used again, without damaging the surrounding surface.
There are 196 pieces, more than with the 0.9 mm and more than with all the larger diameters. That follows from a different arrangement of the production plate on which this size is printed. Among the sizes in the upper half of the range, none covers as many fitted joints from a single box, so it suits surfaces where dozens of riveted points are expected.
A larger head needs the area around the hole cleaned up properly. A burr left by drilling will lift it and the joint then sits crooked, which with a one-millimeter diameter everybody notices. It is enough to go over the spot with the edge of a knife or the finest sanding paper and only then to seat the part. A drill of the same diameter as for the 0.9 mm covers both sizes at once, which saves swapping tools during a build.
