About product

AK Burnt Vehicles Set - a set of pigments for burned-out equipment

This weathering set from AK Interactive contains a set of pigment powders together with a fixing product. It makes it possible to imitate the look of burned vehicles faithfully: ash, black soot, burn marks and traces of corrosion on fire-damaged equipment.

Use

  • The dry pigments are applied with a brush to a model that has been painted.
  • By layering the shades you create transitions from soot through ash to rust.
  • The enclosed fixative anchors the pigments so that they are not rubbed away.
  • It combines with other weathering techniques and effects.

Who it is for

For more advanced modelers and diorama builders who want realistic effects of fire and burn marks on equipment.

It is a fine loose pigment, so do not breathe in the dust and work in a well-ventilated area.
